Page Title: Content Brain Canon
Document Type: Canon
Version: v1.1
Parent Page: Content Brain
Status: Active
Migration Classification: MCR Only
Plugin Or UI Candidate: No
Notes: Defines Content Brain as the MWMS multi-format content strategy, planning, creation, production, editing, quality-control, publishing-support and lifecycle system. Establishes authority for website content, articles, social content, scripts, advertising content, newsletters, email sequences, manuals, guides, documentation, training content, lead magnets and coordinated content packs. Site Intelligence remains a supporting diagnostic input. Must remain in MCR as the source of truth.

Content Brain Canon

Purpose

The Content Brain is the governed MWMS system responsible for planning, creating, adapting, reviewing, packaging and managing content across channels, formats and lifecycle stages.

Its purpose is to convert approved business objectives, strategic direction, research intelligence, customer intelligence, offer intelligence, search intelligence, campaign requirements and site intelligence into complete and usable content assets.

Content Brain must ensure that content:

  • supports defined business and audience outcomes
  • serves a clear role within an approved strategy or workflow
  • is created for the correct audience, intent, channel and lifecycle stage
  • remains structurally consistent across MWMS
  • uses approved evidence, source material and intelligence
  • operates within persuasion, compliance and trust boundaries
  • strengthens clarity, relevance, authority and comprehension
  • supports conversion without relying on unsupported claims or manipulation
  • is suitable for human review, approval and publication
  • can be measured, refreshed, repurposed, improved or retired
  • remains connected to the source intelligence and decision that caused it to exist

Content inside MWMS is treated as both:

  • a governed system component
  • a practical production output

Content must serve a defined function.

Content must not operate independently of governance, evidence, strategy or human approval requirements.

Core Identity

Content Brain is not only a content planning system.

Content Brain is not only a content brief system.

Content Brain is not only a Site Intelligence system.

Content Brain is not a replacement for Research Brain, Creative Brain, Ads Brain, Strategy Brain or Compliance Brain.

Content Brain is the MWMS production authority responsible for turning approved inputs from those Brains into complete and usable content assets.

Its role includes:

  • content planning
  • content brief creation
  • content drafting
  • content production
  • content editing
  • content adaptation
  • content packaging
  • content quality control
  • publishing support
  • content lifecycle management

Site Intelligence is one supporting capability inside Content Brain.

It identifies content needs and feeds production decisions.

It must not become the identity or primary operating model of Content Brain.

Definition

Content is structured communication created to produce a defined audience, business, educational, operational or conversion-support outcome.

Content may be designed to:

  • attract attention
  • create awareness
  • educate
  • explain
  • build authority
  • answer questions
  • reduce uncertainty
  • increase trust
  • support evaluation
  • clarify trade-offs
  • prepare an audience for action
  • support a conversion event
  • retain or re-engage an audience
  • support customers after purchase
  • train a person or team
  • document a process
  • communicate a decision
  • support a campaign
  • create reusable intellectual property

Content is not evaluated on creativity alone.

Content must be evaluated according to:

  • strategic fit
  • audience relevance
  • intent alignment
  • factual and evidence quality
  • structural clarity
  • channel suitability
  • message consistency
  • compliance safety
  • trust contribution
  • usability
  • production quality
  • publishing readiness
  • measurable contribution
  • lifecycle value

Core Mandate

Content Brain must:

  • identify the content assets required to support an approved objective
  • determine whether work requires new content, refresh, repurposing, consolidation, linking, correction or no action
  • create structured content briefs when a brief is required
  • create complete drafts and final-form content assets
  • adapt content for different channels without reducing it to generic rewriting
  • preserve audience, intent, offer, evidence and message alignment across formats
  • maintain consistency across related content assets
  • apply editing and quality-control standards
  • prepare assets for human approval and publication
  • identify content that requires compliance, factual, technical or specialist review
  • manage the relationship between source intelligence and finished content
  • support content refresh, repurposing, improvement, consolidation and retirement
  • receive performance and learning signals after publication
  • use approved learnings to improve future content work

Content Brain must produce usable outputs, not only recommendations about what an output could contain.

Content Production Authority

Content Brain has authority to create content when:

  • the objective is approved
  • the content need is defined
  • the target audience or user is sufficiently clear
  • the intended channel or destination is known
  • required source material or evidence is available
  • applicable offer, strategy and compliance boundaries are known
  • human approval requirements are defined

Content Brain may create:

  • outlines
  • briefs
  • first drafts
  • revised drafts
  • final review drafts
  • publishing-ready content
  • channel adaptations
  • repurposed assets
  • content packs
  • supporting production notes

Content Brain must not present unfinished, unverified or unapproved material as published truth.

Where source material is incomplete, Content Brain must identify the gap rather than inventing evidence.

Content Request And Project Model

Content work should begin from a defined request, opportunity, problem or approved objective.

A content request may originate from:

  • Martyn
  • HeadOffice
  • Strategy Brain
  • Affiliate Brain
  • AIBS Brain
  • PPL Brain
  • Ads Brain
  • Search Intelligence
  • Research Brain
  • Customer Brain
  • Ecommerce Brain
  • Product Brain
  • Site Intelligence
  • an existing content refresh need
  • an approved campaign or launch
  • a human-entered operational request

A single content request may create:

  • one content asset
  • multiple related assets
  • a complete content project
  • a channel-specific content pack
  • a site-wide production requirement
  • a refresh or repurposing programme

Each content project should eventually be able to identify:

  • project objective
  • originating request
  • requesting Brain or human
  • target business, site, product or offer
  • target audience
  • audience awareness or lifecycle stage
  • content purpose
  • required asset types
  • channels and destinations
  • source intelligence
  • approved evidence
  • required message or angle
  • compliance requirements
  • approval requirements
  • current production stage
  • blocked conditions
  • next action
  • completed assets
  • publication status
  • performance and refresh signals

The exact data structure and interface may evolve.

This Canon defines the required operating concept without freezing the future implementation schema.

End-To-End Content Lifecycle

The governed Content Brain lifecycle is:

1. Request Or Opportunity

A content requirement, gap, opportunity or instruction is received.

2. Qualification

Content Brain determines:

  • whether content is genuinely required
  • whether an existing asset already covers the need
  • whether the correct action is create, update, merge, repurpose, link, retire or no action
  • whether required inputs are available
  • whether another Brain must act first

3. Objective And Audience Definition

The content objective, audience, awareness state, intent, destination and required outcome are defined.

4. Source And Intelligence Assembly

Approved source material may include:

  • research findings
  • customer language
  • offer intelligence
  • product information
  • strategic direction
  • search intent
  • competitor context
  • site intelligence
  • campaign requirements
  • verified evidence
  • prior performance learnings
  • approved voice and brand material

5. Asset Planning

Content Brain determines:

  • required formats
  • number of assets
  • asset relationships
  • channel requirements
  • production order
  • dependencies
  • approval points

6. Brief Creation

A content brief is created where the work requires structured production guidance.

A brief should not become a compulsory layer where the work is simple and fully defined.

7. Content Creation

Content Brain creates the required content assets.

This may include:

  • outline
  • draft
  • script
  • page copy
  • article
  • email
  • newsletter
  • social post
  • manual
  • guide
  • ad asset
  • multi-format content pack

8. Editing And Quality Control

Content is reviewed for:

  • accuracy
  • clarity
  • structure
  • completeness
  • audience relevance
  • channel fit
  • voice consistency
  • evidence integrity
  • claim safety
  • duplication
  • unnecessary repetition
  • readability
  • conversion support
  • next-action clarity

9. Specialist Review

Where required, content is routed for human or Brain review, including:

  • compliance review
  • factual review
  • technical review
  • offer review
  • brand review
  • campaign review
  • legal review
  • stakeholder approval

10. Human Approval

Until a later approved automation stage, humans retain control over final acceptance and publication.

Content Brain may recommend approval status.

It must not assume final approval where human approval is required.

11. Publishing Preparation

Content Brain prepares the approved asset for its destination.

Publishing preparation may include:

  • title and heading structure
  • metadata
  • call-to-action placement
  • internal-link recommendations
  • asset notes
  • image or creative requirements
  • formatting guidance
  • publishing checklist
  • channel-specific versioning

12. Publication Or Delivery

Approved content is published or delivered through the appropriate human-controlled or future approved operational process.

Content Brain does not automatically publish content unless a later authorised workflow explicitly permits it.

13. Measurement And Learning

Post-publication signals may be received from:

  • Data Brain
  • Ads Brain
  • Experimentation Brain
  • Search Intelligence
  • Affiliate Brain
  • Customer Brain
  • platform analytics
  • human review

14. Lifecycle Action

Content Brain may recommend or perform approved work to:

  • refresh
  • improve
  • expand
  • consolidate
  • repurpose
  • relink
  • correct
  • reformat
  • reissue
  • retire
  • archive

Content Function Types

Content may operate in one or more functional roles.

  • records instructions
  • supports implementation
  • improves operational consistency

Repurposing And Distribution

  • adapts approved source content into additional formats
  • extends useful content into appropriate channels
  • preserves the original meaning while changing delivery form

Multi-Channel Adaptation Standard

Content Brain must not treat repurposing as automatic copying between channels.

Each adapted asset must account for:

  • platform behaviour
  • audience expectation
  • content length
  • format
  • hook style
  • pacing
  • visual or audio context
  • call to action
  • destination
  • awareness stage
  • compliance limits

A long-form article may become:

  • a newsletter
  • an email sequence
  • a social content series
  • an Instagram carousel
  • a LinkedIn post
  • a YouTube script
  • short-form video scripts
  • an ad concept
  • a checklist
  • a lead magnet
  • an internal training asset

Each derivative must be fit for its destination.

Website And Site Content Responsibility

Content Brain may inspect an existing website or support the creation of a new website content structure.

Its responsibility may include:

  • identifying required pages
  • mapping page purpose
  • identifying missing content
  • identifying weak or thin content
  • identifying overlapping or duplicate content
  • determining create, refresh, merge, link, retire or no-action decisions
  • creating page briefs
  • creating full page copy
  • supporting internal linking
  • supporting publishing readiness
  • supporting content migration
  • maintaining consistency across the site

Site Intelligence supports these decisions.

Site Intelligence is a diagnostic input layer and must lead toward content action.

Site Intelligence records must not replace the broader Content Brain production system.

Editing And Quality Control

Content Brain is responsible for improving content, not only generating first drafts.

Editing may include:

  • structural editing
  • developmental editing
  • clarity editing
  • factual alignment
  • evidence alignment
  • conversion-support editing
  • voice and tone alignment
  • channel adaptation
  • repetition reduction
  • readability improvement
  • heading and flow improvement
  • call-to-action improvement
  • claim-risk correction
  • consistency checking
  • formatting preparation

Content must not be marked publishing-ready merely because a draft exists.

Content Quality Standard

All production outputs should be evaluated against the following dimensions where applicable:

  • correct objective
  • correct audience
  • correct intent
  • correct channel
  • sufficient source support
  • factual accuracy
  • evidence visibility
  • useful information gain
  • clear structure
  • readable presentation
  • consistent voice
  • suitable tone
  • appropriate persuasion strength
  • compliant claims
  • trust stability
  • useful next action
  • format completeness
  • internal consistency
  • relationship to other assets
  • publishing readiness

The quality standard may be expanded through supporting frameworks and checklists.

Supporting quality frameworks must remain subordinate to this Canon.

Structural Persuasion Governance

Content must remain compliant with MWMS persuasion and cognitive influence constraints.

Content must avoid:

  • exaggerated claims
  • unsupported promises
  • unverifiable statements
  • hidden conditions
  • artificial urgency
  • misleading scarcity
  • misrepresentation of mechanisms
  • unbounded benefit framing
  • guaranteed-outcome language without valid authority
  • emotional overload without clarity
  • deceptive framing
  • manipulative omission
  • false authority
  • fabricated evidence
  • invented customer experiences
  • invented statistics or sources

Content must balance persuasion strength with comprehension, evidence and trust.

Trust stability must not be weakened by persuasion intensity.

Content intended to influence a decision must support informed choice rather than conceal relevant information.

Evidence And Source Integrity

Content Brain consumes approved intelligence.

It does not replace Research Brain’s authority to conduct and govern deep research.

Content Brain may perform limited content-specific source checks where necessary to produce or verify an asset.

Where deeper research is needed, the work must be returned or routed to Research Brain or an approved human research process.

Content Brain must:

  • preserve the meaning of source evidence
  • distinguish evidence from interpretation
  • avoid inventing facts
  • identify missing evidence
  • identify unsupported claims
  • retain source visibility where required
  • avoid overstating research confidence
  • avoid turning weak signals into confirmed truth

Research material should become content only after it is sufficiently understood and appropriate for the intended use.

Relationship To Other Brains

  • execution continuity
  • delivery coordination

Content Brain retains authority over content production quality and content-specific workflow requirements.

SIT Brain

SIT Brain ensures:

  • system integrity
  • authority boundaries
  • workflow compliance
  • drift detection
  • controlled change

Content Brain must not expand into autonomous operation without appropriate approval.

Finance Brain

Finance Brain provides:

  • financial constraints
  • economic claim boundaries
  • budget and viability context

Content Brain must not imply unrealistic financial outcomes.

Primary Inputs

Content Brain may receive:

  • approved business objectives
  • strategic direction
  • campaign requirements
  • offer intelligence
  • product intelligence
  • customer intelligence
  • research findings
  • verified evidence
  • search intelligence
  • site intelligence
  • content-gap findings
  • brand and voice guidance
  • creative direction
  • lifecycle stage
  • funnel requirements
  • platform requirements
  • compliance rules
  • performance signals
  • experiment learnings
  • existing content assets
  • human instructions
  • publishing destination requirements

Inputs must remain traceable enough to support accurate content creation and review.

Primary Outputs

Content Brain may produce:

  • content strategies
  • content plans
  • content opportunity decisions
  • content project definitions
  • content briefs
  • website structures
  • complete website page copy
  • complete articles
  • affiliate content
  • social media content
  • video scripts
  • audio and podcast scripts
  • webinar scripts
  • ad copy
  • ad scripts
  • newsletters
  • email sequences
  • manuals
  • guides
  • reports
  • lead magnets
  • ebooks
  • workbooks
  • checklists
  • playbooks
  • standard operating procedures
  • training content
  • knowledge-base content
  • content packs
  • repurposed assets
  • refreshed content
  • internal-linking recommendations and copy
  • metadata
  • publishing packages
  • review notes
  • approval recommendations
  • content quality findings
  • lifecycle recommendations
  • refresh, consolidation and retirement recommendations

Content Brain outputs must be practical and usable.

A recommendation alone is not a substitute for a finished asset when the approved request requires production.

Human Approval And Manual Control

Current operating status:

  • manual workflow remains human controlled
  • humans approve final content decisions
  • humans approve publication
  • no autonomous publishing
  • no autonomous cross-Brain routing
  • no autonomous production worker
  • no autonomous queue execution
  • no automatic M handoff
  • no unrestricted content generation
  • no AI Employee authority activated for Content Brain

Content Brain may support humans by:

  • preparing assets
  • identifying risks
  • recommending next actions
  • showing workflow state
  • preserving source relationships
  • preparing approval-ready work

Future automation must be separately designed, tested, governed and approved.

This Canon permits future automation but does not activate it.

Future Capability Direction

Content Brain is expected to evolve toward a more complete production operating system.

Future capabilities may include:

  • structured content request intake
  • content project records
  • multi-asset content packs
  • content briefs
  • drafting workspaces
  • controlled content generators
  • reusable templates
  • voice and style controls
  • channel selectors
  • content version management
  • asset relationships
  • human approval workflows
  • compliance gates
  • publishing-readiness gates
  • content queues
  • production status tracking
  • source and evidence linking
  • cross-Brain input requests
  • publishing integrations
  • performance feedback
  • automated refresh recommendations
  • controlled repurposing
  • AI-assisted editing
  • AI Employees
  • worker processes
  • approved automation
  • approved Brain Room routing

These capabilities must not be built merely because they are technically possible.

Each future capability must:

  • solve a proven operating need
  • respect MCR source truth
  • avoid duplicating another Brain
  • preserve human control until explicitly changed
  • pass manual workflow validation
  • use the correct data layer
  • have clear authority and boundaries
  • avoid unnecessary WordPress page creation
  • avoid turning temporary testing structures into permanent architecture

This Canon defines the destination without prematurely fixing the final UI, database schema, plugin architecture or automation design.

Operating Layer Boundaries

MCR

MCR is the source of truth for:

  • Canon
  • authority
  • architecture
  • master frameworks
  • master templates
  • master specifications
  • governance
  • approved operating rules

Content Brain Site

The Content Brain site is the operational implementation and working environment for:

  • manual workflows
  • operating screens
  • working copies
  • plugin-facing pages
  • implementation pages
  • approved operational tools

A page existing only on the Content Brain site is not automatically MCR Canon.

Supabase

Supabase is the structured data layer for repeatable operational information, which may eventually include:

  • content requests
  • content projects
  • asset records
  • brief records
  • production state
  • approval state
  • source references
  • evidence references
  • publishing state
  • refresh state
  • repurposing state
  • internal-link actions
  • performance signals
  • archive state

The final schema must follow the proven operating model.

Temporary Site Intelligence test records must not define the whole Content Brain data model.

WordPress Pages

WordPress pages should be used for:

  • Canon pages
  • frameworks
  • protocols
  • templates
  • specifications
  • operating pages
  • short summary logs
  • approved working copies

Repeatable production records should not be created as separate WordPress pages when structured data is the better destination.

Non-Negotiable Rules

Content must not:

  • operate without a clear purpose
  • be created merely because a topic exists
  • duplicate an existing suitable asset without reason
  • override approved research evidence
  • invent evidence, facts, sources or customer experiences
  • introduce unsupported claims
  • imply guaranteed outcomes without authority
  • contradict offer, strategy or product truth
  • bypass required compliance review
  • bypass required human approval
  • increase cognitive overload unnecessarily
  • weaken trust through excessive persuasion
  • ignore channel requirements
  • ignore audience intent
  • treat generic rewriting as proper repurposing
  • be marked publishing-ready without appropriate review
  • be automatically published under the current manual status
  • turn Site Intelligence into a replacement for the full production system
  • turn Content Brain into a duplicate Research Brain

Content must maintain:

  • structural clarity
  • evidence integrity
  • audience relevance
  • channel suitability
  • production usefulness
  • system integrity
  • human control

Drift Protection

The system must prevent:

  • Content Brain being reduced to briefs only
  • Content Brain being reduced to Site Intelligence only
  • Content Brain becoming a research-record database
  • production capability being excluded from the operating model
  • finished-content outputs being replaced by recommendations only
  • temporary test screens defining permanent architecture
  • uncontrolled content generation
  • content being created without objective or audience clarity
  • content being produced without source support where evidence is required
  • content contradicting Research Brain intelligence
  • content contradicting approved strategy or offer structure
  • content increasing compliance exposure
  • content bypassing required approval
  • content being published without authorisation
  • generic cross-channel copying being labelled as repurposing
  • WordPress page bloat being used instead of structured records
  • Supabase records being treated as Canon
  • Content Brain site-only pages being treated as MCR source truth
  • premature automation
  • premature worker creation
  • premature Brain Room routing
  • premature AI Employee activation

Material drift must be escalated to Martyn and HeadOffice.

Architectural Intent

Content Brain exists to become the governed content production and lifecycle operating system for MWMS.

Its role is to ensure that MWMS can turn approved intelligence and business requirements into complete, useful, accurate and channel-appropriate content assets.

Content Brain must prevent two opposite failures:

  • uncontrolled creative output disconnected from evidence, strategy and system outcomes
  • excessive governance that prevents Content Brain from actually creating useful content

The architecture must support both control and production.

Content Brain must remain capable of producing:

  • individual content assets
  • multi-format content packs
  • website content systems
  • campaign content
  • publishing-ready material
  • refresh and repurposing work
  • long-term content assets and intellectual property

The operating model must remain broad enough to support future websites, affiliate projects, PPL, AIBS, ecommerce, products, social channels, advertising, newsletters, training materials and future MWMS business models.

This Canon defines Content Brain’s permanent authority.

Supporting workflows, interfaces, schemas, plugins, queues, generators, AI Employees and automations may evolve beneath it without narrowing that authority.

Current Operating Position

At the time of this review:

  • manual workflow testing has been conducted
  • Site Intelligence has been tested as one supporting capability
  • a Supabase records layer has been proven for repeatable Site Intelligence test records
  • a WordPress records interface has been proven for controlled add, view, edit and archive behaviour
  • the current Site Intelligence Records screen is a test and diagnostic layer
  • it is not the full Content Brain operating interface
  • the full Content Brain production UI has not started
  • content generation has not started
  • automation has not started
  • worker processes have not started
  • Brain Room routing has not started
  • M handoff has not started
  • AI Employee work has not started

The next architecture and build decisions must be based on this expanded Canon.
