Purpose
The MWMS Brain Registry is the official master record of all operational Brains within the MWMS ecosystem.
It defines:
• which Brains exist
• their authority boundaries
• their scope of responsibility
• their relationship to HeadOffice
• their system layer
The registry prevents structural drift and scope overlap between Brains.
Every Brain operating within MWMS must appear in this registry.
If a Brain is not listed here, it is not recognised as part of the MWMS ecosystem.
Scope
This registry applies to:
• all official MWMS Brains
• organisational structure visibility across the ecosystem
• Brain authority and scope declaration
• lifecycle-state recording for Brains
• HeadOffice control over recognised departmental structure
This document governs the official recognition and structural definition of Brains inside MWMS.
It does not govern:
• detailed operating rules inside a Brain by themselves
• Brain creation approval by itself
• AI employee role definitions by themselves
• campaign execution
• capital allocation
• plugin or infrastructure implementation details
Those remain governed by HeadOffice, the MWMS Brain Creation Protocol, the MWMS Brain Operating Contract, the MWMS AI Employee Registry, and relevant Brain canons.
Definition / Rules
Core Principle
Each Brain must have:
• a defined mission
• clearly bounded authority
• a defined reporting relationship
• explicit operational scope
No Brain may assume authority outside its defined scope.
HeadOffice remains the final authority for all Brains.

Registry Governance Rules
The Brain Registry must be updated when:
• a new Brain is created
• a Brain’s authority changes
• operational scope expands
• a Brain is retired
All updates must be recorded in the Canon Change Log.
Only HeadOffice may approve registry updates.
Lifecycle Status Classification
Each Brain must include a lifecycle status.
Possible statuses:
• Proposed
• Active
• Evolving
• Dormant
• Retired
Recognition Rule
If a Brain is not listed in this registry, it is not recognised as an official MWMS Brain.
Unregistered Brains are structurally non-operational.
Final Rule
The Brain Registry is the authoritative record of MWMS organisational structure.
All Brains must operate within their defined scope and authority.
HeadOffice governs the system.
Drift Protection
The system must prevent:
• unofficial Brains operating outside registry visibility
• Brains expanding authority without registry update
• duplicate or overlapping Brain missions remaining unresolved
• lifecycle-status drift between actual and recorded state
• new Brains being treated as real before formal approval and registration
• structural growth outpacing governance visibility
The Brain Registry must remain current, authoritative, and ecosystem-wide.
Architectural Intent
MWMS – Brain Registry exists to provide a single governed record of all recognised Brains inside MWMS.
Its role is to make the organisational structure visible, bounded, and stable so that every Brain has clear recognition, reporting position, scope, and system-layer placement as the ecosystem expands.
