Purpose

This document defines the standard structure used when a new affiliate opportunity enters Affiliate Brain.

Its purpose is to ensure all new offers are captured consistently before deeper evaluation begins.

This form prevents chaotic offer entry and improves opportunity review discipline.

Scope

This reference applies to:

• Affiliate Brain opportunity intake
• first-stage capture of new affiliate offers
• intake review before Offer Intelligence creation
• rejection or escalation decisions at intake stage
• structured logging of raw opportunities entering the system

This document defines what the intake form should capture and how intake-stage progression should work.

It does not govern:

• detailed structural offer evaluation
• offer scoring
• campaign launch approval
• capital allocation decisions
• live testing execution

Those remain governed by Offer Intelligence, the Offer Scoring Model, Affiliate Brain Architecture, and Affiliate Brain Canon.

Definition / Rules

Architectural Role

The Offer Intake Form acts as the front-end capture layer for Affiliate Brain.

It records the essential information needed to begin opportunity analysis.

The intake form does not evaluate the offer.

It creates the structured entry point for later intelligence, scoring, and testing.

Core Principle

All new offers must enter the system through a structured intake process.

No offer should move directly into testing or deep evaluation without intake.

The intake stage captures the raw opportunity.

Later stages determine whether the opportunity deserves capital.

Intake Fields

Every new offer intake must capture the following fields.

1. Offer Name

Record the name of the offer.

Example:

Offer Name:
Aqua Tower

2. Vendor

Record the vendor or product owner.

Example:

Vendor:
Example Health Labs

3. Affiliate Network

Record the affiliate network.

Example:

Affiliate Network:
ClickBank

4. Offer Category

Classify the offer.

Examples:

• health
• finance
• survival
• self-help
• business opportunity
• software
• ecommerce product

5. Product Type

Record the product type.

Examples:

• digital product
• physical product
• supplement
• subscription
• software
• membership

6. Offer Link

Record the affiliate or vendor link used for review.

This link may include:

• affiliate page
• vendor page
• VSL link
• sales page link

7. Discovery Source

Record where the offer was found.

Examples:

• affiliate network marketplace
• newsletter
• private recommendation
• competitor research
• ad library
• vendor outreach

This helps identify where good opportunities originate.

8. Initial Reason for Interest

Record why the offer appears interesting.

Examples:

• strong mechanism
• unusual angle
• strong market demand
• visible competitors running traffic
• high payout
• good VSL

This field captures the first reason the opportunity stood out.

9. Known Traffic Fit

Record any early judgment about traffic source compatibility.

Examples:

• YouTube Ads fit
• Google Display fit
• advertorial fit
• bridge-page fit
• unclear traffic fit

This field is preliminary only.

10. Known Compliance Concerns

Record any obvious compliance risks.

Examples:

• medical claims
• income claims
• before-and-after style promises
• aggressive language
• no obvious concerns

This field helps flag risk early.

11. Status

Each intake should carry a status.

Allowed statuses:

• New
• Under Review
• Rejected
• Escalated to Offer Intelligence

Definitions:

New
Offer has been entered but not reviewed.

Under Review
Offer is being checked for basic relevance.

Rejected
Offer does not deserve deeper analysis.

Escalated to Offer Intelligence
Offer is approved for deeper evaluation.

Intake Review Rule

After intake, the offer must be reviewed for basic relevance.

Questions:

• Does this offer appear potentially promotable?
• Does it fit Affiliate Brain traffic strategy?
• Does it appear worth deeper evaluation?

If yes:

• move to Offer Intelligence page creation

If no:

• reject at intake stage

Intake Rejection Conditions

An offer may be rejected at intake if:

• the offer is clearly non-promotable
• the niche is outside current strategic scope
• compliance risk appears excessive
• no obvious traffic fit exists
• the offer appears structurally weak from the outset

Rejected offers may still be logged for reference if useful.

Intake Output

Each completed intake produces one of two outputs:

  1. Rejected at Intake
  2. Escalated to Offer Intelligence

No other progression is allowed.

Drift Protection

The system must prevent:

• skipping intake
• moving offers straight to testing
• evaluating offers from memory only
• unlogged opportunities entering the pipeline

All offers must enter through the Offer Intake Form.

Architectural Intent

The Offer Intake Form creates order at the earliest stage of Affiliate Brain.

It ensures new opportunities are captured consistently and reviewed properly before deeper evaluation begins.

This improves system discipline and reduces chaotic opportunity handling.
